Dainty Foods is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of products from warehouse to customers. You will manage inventory control, coordinate shipments, and collaborate with various teams to maintain smooth and cost-effective operations.

• Directs the day-to-day activities of a central warehouse facility including shipping and receiving of orders
• Plans and supervises efficient receipt, storage and distribution of supplies, specialty items, and equipment in central warehouse
• Develops and implements storage systems, policies and procedures to obtain maximum use of space and storage areas.
• Transfer inventory to replenish and/or store product to multiple third party warehouses.
• Assists in overseeing multiple third party warehouses
• Complies data and provide analysis related to shipping and warehouse efficiencies. Submits reports on damages, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of goods to vendor, etc.
• Coordinate OS&D and returns with outside warehouses and the customer service group.
• Scheduling and tracking movement of railcar and container shipments daily
• Traces incoming railcar and container shipments and trouble-shoots where necessary with transport agencies.
• Coordinates warehouse and shipping activities of goods with production and other departments as required.
• Selects, lead, coach, trains, and evaluates personnel.
• Communicate with the supply chain and production team as well as third party warehouses to advise of priorities, bottle necks, concerns and be proactive in management of inventory volume and space available.
• Provide leadership in continuous improvement initiatives as needed and requested to increase warehouse efficiency.
• Ensure proper segregation and identification of materials
• Ensure cleanliness of area and efficient flow of products
• Responsible to order pallets and track inventory on a regular basis
• Responsible to coordinate on site storage trailers along with our fumigation program
• Ability to backfill for both logistics and shipping/receiving coordinator
• Support and assist Logistics Manager as well as supply chain coworkers as needed.
