Job Description Eland Engineering, a GAI Consultants company, is a Florida-based Engineering and Maintenance Services firm. We are looking for 2 full-time ITS Technicians to perform a variety of tasks in central Florida. The position will be based in Seminole County (Sanford), Florida. Responsibilities The duties of this technician role include on-site or in-house servicing, repair, and installation of ITS/Traffic products. Tasks may involve field support, electrical, data, and fiber optic cable installation; conduit and pull box installation; pole and foundation installation. The successful candidate will determine effective installation methods, document work, ensure compliance, and provide technical assistance. Hands-on experience with fiber optic systems and ITS field devices such as DMS, CCTV, MVDS, RSU, Traffic Signal Controllers, and power systems is required. Compensation Range: $40,000-$85,000 DOE (Depending on experience) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install equipment including cameras, detectors, and controller cabinets. Install electrical conductors, data conductors, and fiber optic cables. Install pull boxes, conduits, poles, and foundations. Connect conductors to equipment and power sources. Test devices to ensure proper operation. Maintain logs of field conditions and activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Must pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug test. Schedule Monday - Friday On-call and weekend work may be required Overtime may be necessary Why Eland?
