Job Description
Title: Business Analyst Contract Duration: 12 months Location: Remote (Must support PST core hours)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate Range: $30 to $40/hr Team Purpose The Xbox Digital Stores team collaborates with publishers to manage digital game pricing on the Xbox Store. This includes setting promotional pricing, validating discounts across regions, and analyzing pricing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities 1. Price Check Process (Daily)- Monitor and validate Xbox game pricing and discounts across regions.
- Improve processes for bundle pricing and expanded regional pricing nuances.
- Collaborate on validation for launch ship-rooms.
2. Internal Discount Reporting (Weekly)- Produce monthly promotional reports for financial reviews.
- Validate and summarize internal offer reports monthly.
- Share updated revenue data to inform prioritization with indie and smaller publishers.
3. Publisher Discount Reporting (Monthly)- Maintain and improve discount reporting for publisher discussions.
- Update internal discount look-up tools for better visibility and compliance.
4. Insights & Recommendations (Ongoing)- Support Discounting Lead with promotional data analysis.
- Identify and recommend improvements to discount strategies.
- Collaborate with teams to create data-driven strategies and customer-focused outcomes.
- Leverage historical trends to forecast and refine discounting policies.
Candidate Requirements Years of Experience Required : 5–7 years

- Lack of experience in Excel and data analysis
Top 3 Required Hard Skills - Excel (5+ years) – Advanced knowledge required; includes automation and reporting
- Data Analysis (5+ years) – Experience analyzing promotional/sales data and pricing impact
- Written & Verbal Communication (5+ years) – Clear communication for team collaboration and report sharing
